Hard Rock Stadium opened in 1987 in Miami Gardens, Florida, as the home of the Miami Dolphins. After major renovations it gained a canopy roof and now hosts the Miami Open tennis tournament and the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix on surrounding grounds. The venue has staged multiple Super Bowls and college football championships.
